Have any of you seen this mouse path application that's making its way around the internet? I had a LAZY day yesterday and downloaded it and I must say, it's awesome.
Here's my mousepath.
Basically, the program tracks every movement and click you make with your mouse with lines and dots. If you leave it on for a while you can see patterns of where you go often. I always go to the lower left-hand corner of my screen because on my Mac it shows me all the windows I have open. This is only interesting to me haha. Today I NEED to devote some serious time to homework. I'm afraid that I'm going to fall behind if I don't get a lot done today and tomorrow. Blegh.... So that means I'm going to be sketching, painting, sawing, sanding, writing, reading, and cleaning.

I think we all know what that means.... CRIMINAL MINDS NIGHT! I am absolutely obsessed with Criminal Minds. It is one of two shows that I keep up with regularly. Okay...a little more than regularly. I watch it constantly. If I wasn't so terrified of criminals I would have LOVED to go into some field of forensics. I read books on serial killers all the time and I am completely enamored with what goes on inside the mind of someone who kills. It's so disturbingly fascinating. But enough about that...
Today I had a fun day, I simply love my Wednesday classes. In my textiles class we made fabric collages (don't ask me why... I have absolutely no idea what I was supposed to learn from it), but we didn't get to knit... sad face. Hopefully next week?
In my marketing class we just took notes but, being the gigantic nerd that I am, I had a blast. I think that marketing is extremely interesting and it's so important for me to know about it after I graduate. I get so excited every day at all of the opportunities life is handing me. I'm such a lucky girl!!

My weekend starts tomorrow after class, and as you probably know by now, I'm really big on "to-do" lists and goals. I am already compiling a lengthy list of goals to accomplish this weekend. I learned in Marketing today that those who set goals are better off than those who do not because even if you fail miserably, you tried harder than someone who didn't do anything. See? There's a method to my madness. Since this post is devoid of any photographic goodies, I'll post a bit of inspiration for you all. I'm just so busy!!

For both my absence and absentmindedness. These past few days have been a literal BLUR! Here's the run-down since I'm sure you all are oh so curious about my personal life.
On Saturday and Sunday I was running back and forth in my hallway trying to move. I used to live in 2501 and now I live in 2512 so luckily I just had to walk about 30 seconds from my old home to my new one. Moving is a LOT of work! I'm probably being dramatic because I really didn't move too far but it really took it out of me. I'm a really organized person and I get stressed out far too easily so as I moved my belongings to my new apartment it was important that I organized and cleaned along the way. Finally, on Sunday night with SORE limbs and a clean room I decided I was finished. I spent the majority of the evening making my blog button (which isn't fully functional as I've noticed you can't copy and paste the link below it...I'm working on figuring it out). Later that night I spent some time with a few of my favorite people here at school and got to bed much later than I had originally hoped.
Yesterday I had to get oodles of work done so I woke up at the crack of 11:30 and got to it. I went to the library and checked out a bunch of fashion books (FASCINATING), visited the T-Mobile store so they could fix my phone, finally found some pomegranate molasses at Whole Foods, applied for a job at this wonderful boutique, took a yoga class at my gym, researched for a paper I need to write, ate a bunch of chocolaty delights, wrote in my journal, and helped my neighbor with his marketing homework (which actually ended up being really fun). It was a WONDERFUL day but was so busy that I couldn't find the time to update for you! So, I'm so sorry. I'll make up for it by the end of the week :).
Today I wanted to share a polyvore outfit with you that I made because I promised you one a week!!
I have been thinking non-stop about this shirt. I really want to get one :)
Yesterday I thought I looked pretty cute, I wore an adorable knit headband that my fabulous roommate bought for me :). So, of course, I took a picture for you all.
isn't it adorable? I need to learn how to make one for myself :).
Tonight I made Pomegranate BBQ sauce from scratch. Let me say that again. I made BBQ sauce...FROM SCRATCH! It has such a sweet, wonderful flavor. The recipe makes a lot more than I needed for my tofu so now I have some leftover for other meals! I am so excited to smother everything in it. Last year I couldn't cook anything and the kitchen scared me, now I can't get enough of it. Really!! I took some pictures of the process, it's doesn't look that appealing because the lighting in our kitchen is crap and my camera isn't so great either but it was absolutely wonderful.
I wanted so badly to have my giveaway up last week but with the unexpected move it just didn't happen. I am DETERMINED to get it up this week, FINALLY. While you're waiting for me, you can check out a great giveaway over at Run With Scissors!
Hmm...closing thoughts....
Tomorrow in my textiles class I'm going to get to knit as part of an assignment :). I am really excited. Tonight I'm going to watch a few movies while I try to get homework done. Sorry this post was all over the place! I just had so much to share!!!

I have nothing spectacular to offer you today. I found out this afternoon that I could MOVE and I got started right away. I'm in a fantastic room (although it is definitely a boy room) and I'm almost situated. I really hate dorm life :(. I just want a homey place that is semi-permanent. But I'll settle for what I have now.
Have any of you ever seen the episode of friends where Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Joey and Chandler? And all the shenanigans that go along with moving into a "boy apartment"? Well that is EXACTLY what my roomie and I are experiencing right now and I'm having a hard time taking our issues seriously because I think it's hilarious.
I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of our new place :).

I finished up a quick little knit mouse last night and I wanted to share it with you all.
HOW CUTE IS HE?! I want to knit a whole family of them. I'm not sure what I'll do with them... I'll figure it out I'm sure.

It's soooo cute :). I love it. I'll be making a gazillion more as soon as possible.
Okay it's getting late and I'm headed to the fabric store tomorrow morning sooo it's bed time.

Yesterday was a lovely Valentines day. I didn't have a date but a big group of my friends and I snagged some dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. I got orange chicken because I LOVE it and had a lot of fun being with people I love. On the way home I was walking a bit ahead of everyone because I wasn't dressed appropriately for the cold and my feet were frozen!!! I heard two of my friends say my name a few times so I turned around as asked what they were talking about when one of them exclaimed, "You look like Madeline!!!". At first I was confused (who is madeline?) then I realized they were referring to the cuteeee french cartoon character. If you need a refresher I threw a picture of her below.
I'm so flattered haha. I'm not a redhead but I guess I could see the resemblance? Regardless, I'm sharing this with you because I had completely forgotten how adorable Madeline is and I realize that she is also quite fashionable. So I threw together a Madeline inspired outfit using Polyvore. I had a BLAST making this. Expect at least one polyvore outfit a week :).
