Last day to enter the giveaway!

Today is my last day of work for the summer (and sadly, until I'm able to find a new job in Chicago) and this weekend will be focused around packing and, of course, getting things ready for the store. I absolutely love packing and, like the huge dork that I am, took pictures of the things I have been putting into boxes. I may even dedicate a whole post to packing :).

My shop opening is looming over me like this big scary cloud. I feel like I've put so much of my heart into it and the moment of truth is just around the corner. It's funny because I feel like I'm not really putting too many items in the shop but the amount of work that has gone into them has been astronomical. I'm finishing up the last few items that are going to be photographed tomorrow and putting the finishing touches on all the behind the scenes work (bookkeeping, tags, care tags, sewing in loose ends, adding buttons, embellishing with fun surprises). I knew it would be a lot of work to get things up and running, but I'm shocked at how difficult it really is! I think it's fun to get a first hand look at things in other people's stores, so I'm giving you another peek today at an item that will be up next week. (I'll keep giving you previews until the big day--get excitedddd!!)
